Putting things in motion

I thought that I would try to get my blog back up and rollin, but you know, it never ever took off.  So I guess this is another attempt to try and gather my thoughts.

I think I'll start adding a bunch of songs, probably lesser known ones, to help out some folks out there.  Can't promise I'll keep to that though, because a lot of the music I love isn't exactly unkown, haha.

Today's featured artist is going to be New Moscow.  You can view them here: http://www.myspace.com/newmoscow

I recommend Slow Down and Our Favorite Song.  However, 'Our Favorite Song' is in video form a little bit down the page.  I can't wait for that to come out on CD, I've been dying to own a copy of it for years now.

Life has been so crazy and hectic for me.  I'm glad I have from today through the entire weekend to enjoy a short vacation pretty much.  All I can tell you folks from I have learned this past year, is to value the time you have with the people you love.  You never know how things will change, but take your time and relax.  Take a deep breath and take life for what it is, a conondrum.

Well, I like to get all deep and emotional during the evenings, so I'll stop there for now.  I think I'll also include some lyrics from songs in my posts as well, so I'll close out with some.

Upward Over the Mountain

In case I have a rare visitor out there who happens to be interested in acoustical music--then I have just the song for you.

The song is called "Upward Over the Mountain", and it's by Iron and Wine. I know I tell people all the time that a particular song is "my favorite", but this is definitely up there.

So may the sunrise bring hope where it once was forgotten.
